Ford Updates the Multi-Purpose 2019 Transit Connect Wagon
The 2019 Ford Transit Connect Wagon is a great choice if you need space, versatility and technology but don’t want to pay the price premium for a traditional minivan. The Ford Transit Connect Wagon switches between work and play with ease thanks to its configurable interior that has plenty of space for up to seven.
Baby Boomers across the U.S. have been won over by the Transit Connect’s affordable price, easy-to-use people mover qualities and generous cargo capacity. The Transit Connect Wagon goes from hauling cargo during the work week to carrying the family to fun activities on the weekend.
Ford has updated the Transit Connect Wagon with new driver-assist features for 2019, including Automatic Emergency Braking with segment-exclusive Pre-Collision Assist and Pedestrian Detection, as well as Adaptive Cruise Control. The full suite of active safety features make the Transit Connect Wagon an easy vehicle to drive on a daily basis.
Two new powertrains give customers more choices depending on their needs. There is an all-new 1.5-liter EcoBlue diesel engine and a new 2.0-liter four-cylinder gas engine with Auto Start-Stop as standard equipment. Both a paired to a new eight-speed automatic transmission.
The 2019 Ford Transit Connect Wagon’s new instrument panel is easy to use and features a digital driver information center. A new available 6.5-inch floating touch screen and available wireless phone charging are new additions as well, and SYNC 3 with Ford+Alexa provides personal assistant functionality. The included 4G LTE modem provides Wi-Fi for up to 10 devices.
