Roush Performance and Engine
The Roush comes with an in-house-designed supercharged 5.0-liter V8 that produces an astonishing 775 horsepower and 670 lb-ft of torque. It also adds a radiator and oil coolers for the engine, transmission, and differential to extract heat from the powertrain. To add a touch of signature badging, the custom-built airbox is signed by Jack Roush. As for performance numbers, the Roush can run 0 to 60 in just 3.6 seconds and runs the quarter in 11.2 seconds.
Another highlight is the enhanced active exhaust that has multiple settings that can be adjusted in the cockpit to control the tone and volume of the system. The Roush is available with a 10-speed automatic transmission that’s also used in the Mustang GT. To gain even better handling and ride quality, the MagneRide suspension has been recalibrated by Roush Performance and features a lower ride height.
Roush Packages
As if the performance enhancements aren’t enough, the Roush also offers several available packages with performance features. The Competition package includes track-ready tires, Roush/Weld racing wheels, and a lower air intake. You’ll also get a special vented hood, a revised front grille, and side skirts. The Carbon Fiber Track package adds additional performance features like traction tires, a larger spoiler, and more.
The Podium package is decked out in track-ready hardware, such as Brembo front brake pads, performance slotted rotors, and an Active Aerodynamic Carbon Fiber Wing. This wing can create up to 2.5 times more downforce than the standard spoiler for better aerodynamics. You can also add agate grey forged wheels that lower the total weight for better lap times. Other features include a boost gauge, engine bay badges, quilted leather seats, and branded floor mats.
Roush Interior Styling
The Roush design doesn’t stop at performance. The interior of the Roush features red and black leather-trimmed sport seats with stylish red contrast stitching. Jack Roush’s signature is embroidered on the seats as well. The steering wheel is wrapped in the same leather and features a red market at the top.
